Advanced Level (A-Level) Studies

At École des Sciences Saint Louis de Montfort Nyanza, the Advanced Level (S5–S6) is designed to prepare students for university education and future professional careers in science, health sciences, and technology-related fields. The program emphasizes strong academic foundations, practical laboratory skills, critical thinking, and discipline.

Students are guided through a structured learning environment where they specialize in one of the following subject combinations:

Science and Health-Oriented Combinations

Associate Nursing Program (ANP)
This program is tailored for students aspiring to pursue careers in nursing and healthcare services. It focuses on foundational medical knowledge, human biology, and basic clinical understanding to prepare learners for health-related studies at tertiary level.

Mathematics – Chemistry – Biology (MCB)
MCB is designed for students interested in medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, and related life sciences. It builds strong analytical and laboratory skills with a focus on biological and chemical systems.

Physics – Chemistry – Biology (PCB)
PCB is a core science combination for learners aiming for careers in medicine, veterinary science, environmental science, and biomedical fields. It integrates physical principles with biological and chemical sciences.

Physics – Chemistry – Mathematics (PCM)
PCM is a highly analytical combination suited for students targeting engineering, architecture, computer science, and other technical disciplines. It develops strong problem-solving, mathematical modeling, and scientific reasoning skills.

Academic Vision for A-Level Students

The A-Level section at the school is not only focused on academic excellence but also on shaping disciplined, responsible, and innovative learners. Students are encouraged to develop independence in learning, engage in practical experiments, and build the confidence required for higher education and competitive careers.
