Ecole des Sciences Saint Louis de Montfort Nyanza (E.SC.L.M Nyanza) is one of Rwanda’s respected science-oriented secondary schools, recognized for academic excellence, discipline, leadership, and holistic student formation. Founded in 1965 by the Catholic Diocese of Butare, the school has built a strong legacy of educating generations of students who continue to contribute positively to Rwanda and beyond.

Located in Busasamana Sector, Nyanza District, Southern Province, E.SC.L.M Nyanza is a Catholic and government-aided institution committed to providing quality education grounded in strong moral values, scientific innovation, and personal responsibility. Guided by its motto, “Discipline – Work – Success,” the school continues to nurture students into confident, disciplined, and future-ready leaders.

The school offers both Ordinary Level and Advanced Level education with strong science combinations including PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), MCB (Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology), and Associate Nursing Program (ANP).
